How is the FE exam scored?

The results of the exam are based on the total number of questions that were answered correctly. There is no penalty for answering a question wrong. The score is converted to a scaled score to allow for differences in difficulty between the different exam formats. The passing score is not published and there is no predetermined percentage of test takers that will pass or fail. The pass rate for each test is published.
